The latest updates of Mixin Messenger (0.14.0) have added a new feature, the ”PIN Incorrect Logs“. It can help users to record when and why you typed the wrong PIN.

How to check the logs?

A.  IOS 

1. Open the app and click "gear" in the upper right corner to open the settings page

4. The reason and time of the error will appear:

B. Android 

1. Open the app and click "gear" in the upper right corner

3、Click “View PIN Incorrect Logs“

Note:

The Incorrect logs have two types: Verify and transfer to user or bot.

Verify actions contain: change the PIN, change the phone number, open wallet every 24 hours, set an emergency contact, etc...

Transfer to user or bot contains: transfer, payment, lucky coins, etc...

  1. No wallet opened for more than 24 hours, Need to enter PIN code to verify the user's operation
  2. Before changing the phone number, input PIN to verify the user's operation
  3. Before adding an emergency contact, it's necessary to input the PIN to verify the user's operation.
